Shot counter for weapon test bench
Rozum, Stanislav ; Povalač, Aleš (referee) ; Frýza, Tomáš (advisor)
Bachelor’s thesis describes construction and design of Shot counter for weapon test bench. Shot counter is device consisting of six seven-segment displays to display count of total fired shots. When connected to weapon, shot counter operates in real-time, incrementing counter directly as shots are fired. First chapter describes process of weapon test bench, electric build of testing weapon and transfer protocol. Second chapter solves design of DC-DC switching converters and display driving electronic. Last part of second chapter discusses ways of communication with weapon. Third chapter reassumes with firmware solution for used hardware. Development of display control including brightness control and communication between shot counter and weapon or PC is described in the last part of chapter three.
USB in microcontroler
Hatala, Branislav ; Arm, Jakub (referee) ; Bradáč, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with implementation of USB interface in microcontroller. As demonstration example it creates, a composite device that implements USB keyboard interface along with virtual console interface. The purpose of this device is to serve for data collection from measurement instruments. This device receives commands via virtual console and forwards data to a connected PC via emulated keyboard interface. This provides a practical example on the USB side, while measurement is simulated by set of predetermined strings.

MRI Compatible Receiver and Transmitter
Šot, Jan ; Rozman, Jiří (referee) ; Sekora, Jiří (advisor)
The degree work is dedicated to MRI problems of compatible transmitter. The physical principle of magnetic resonance and the description of the construction of magnetic resonance apparatus are discussed in the first part of the work. Next the possibility of data transmission by means of infrared radiation and data transmission through USB are dealt with. The second part of the work is dedicated to the very implementation of transmitter and receiver, their hardware and software components. The discussion of the functionality of the apparatus and its utilization form part of the work.
Design of special antenna rotator
Půhoný, Jan ; Ježek, Michal (referee) ; Kovář, Jan (advisor)
This master's thesis deals with design electronics for an antenna rotator in two axis. There are designed and implemented drivers for two stepper motors. Was also designed and implemented control panel that allows manual control the rotator and remote control by PC via USB. At the same time created software for control panel and PC application for easy operation.
Small CNC machine
Moštěk, Jiří ; Matěj, Zdeněk (referee) ; Záplata, Filip (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the design and construction of a three-axis CNC machine primarily designed for PCB drilling and production of front panels for various electronic devices. All three axes are driven by stepper motors NEMA 23 which are connected to stepper motor drivers L6470. Processor STM32F407 is used to control the whole machine. The wiring is completed by a LCD display with touchscreen which is used to communicate with user. Data for drilling can be entering manually or via USB inerface. Part of this thesis is the selection of a suitable construction and components, assembling equipment, wiring design of electronic circuits and writing the code to control the machine. Finally, the parameters of the designed device have been measured.
